With the 2016 NHL Entry Draft behind us we look back at the Flames 9 picks and introduce you to each of the players the Flames selected. Plus we discuss the new Flames coach Glen Gulutzan and speculate on who his new Associate Coach will be. As we look ahead to July 1 and the start of the “Free Agent Frenzy” we speculate who might be a target for the Flames to sign and what holes on the roster need to be addressed.

This is the second of our 2016 Entry Draft preview episodes. In this episode we look at the Flames second round picks (35/54/56 overall) and who they should draft, or if they should trade those picks to move up into the last first round. In what is being called a weak draft year we’ll look at what types of players the Flames should take in round 3-7 and what they need to keep the right types of players in the development system.
