And we thought this would be a slow news week for the Flames!  Despite the poor month for the Calgary Flames, the team still ended the month with a .500 record – and only 7 points out of first place in the Pacific Division. Of course we discuss the Bill Peters incident, and the new Head Coach Geoff Ward.  What does the December schedule hold for the Flames, and is it still possible to turn this season around?

The Calgary Flames long few months on the road is coming to an end, and the team’s play seems to be improving too. After a player’s only meeting after the blowout loss in St. Louis, a win in Philadelphia and a very good game against Pittsburgh, it looks like the Calgary Flames are starting to turn things around.

We debate if Bill Peters should be fired – and if so who would replace him?  Is David Rittich a legit starting goalie, or just the best we’ve got? And we answer some questions from listeners.

The Calgary Flames top line, and the power of the purple Gatorade lead the team to three wins this week. In a week with injuries and lineup changes, the team still managed to keep their spot atop the Western Conference.

We recap our 2018-2019 predictions as we close out the 2018 calendar year, and share our thoughts on Bill Peters so far as the coach, as well as looking ahead to the 2019 portion of the season, and what the Flames need to do to last as a top team in the West.

There has been a lot of Flames news since the season ended – Bill Peters is the new Head Coach (and has a new coaching staff), The Flames made a big trade with the Carolina Hurricanes, and the GM says they aren’t done making changes yet.
