It’s been a week full of Flames news! The season ending injury to Mark Giordano, the recent recall of Drew Shore, and of course the main event – the 2015 NHL Trade Deadline. We reflect on Curtis Glencross’ time as a Flame and give our thoughts on the Flames return. What does Dave Schlemko mean to the Flames, and if we think the Flames got a good return for Sven Baertschi. We’ll also discuss if Joni Ortio’s injury caused the Flames not to move Karri Ramo.

In this week’s episode we break the season down into 7 game blocks, and look at how the Flames performed in each series. The Flames called up Poirier and Ferland and we’ll look at what we can expect from the two young players on this road trip. Joni Ortio got injured so we’ll talk about how it will affect the Flames changes to trade Ramo, and we discuss the Curtis Glencross trade rumours, and other trade rumours a week before the Trade Deadline.

As we look ahead to the opening of the regular season, we talk about the players who will be on the Opening Day roster – including Johnny Gaudreau. Which of the veteran players are going to impress us this year, and which veterans do we think will disappoint? Will Glencross and Bollig be players that will have a good or a bad season?
