With Johnny Gaudreau, Josh Jooris, and Jykri Jokipakka out with injuries this week it lead to Derek Grant, Hunter Shinkaruk, Emile Poirier, and Brett Kulak being recalled from Stockton on an emergency basis. We’ll recap how all four kids looked in their first game of this recall and Dan and Matt disagree over who we might see back in Calgary next season, and in what role.

We’ll also talk about Jankowski, European UFA Daniel Pribyl, if the Flames can beat the Honda Center Curse and more.

We’re 19 games into the season and can now fairly assess where the Flames are at. After another disappointing week on the road we break down the games and how the Flames played in each. Based on comments by Rhett Warrener on Fan960 about the Flames having no excuses left we look at what the struggles have been and why the team is struggling and if any changes can be made. There have been some high profile players added to the team, some important players re-signed, new jersey numbers assigned, players who have left the Flames organization, and more.
