We’re getting down to crunch time for the Flames, where every game is a must win. After a disappointing loss to the Islanders, Glen Gulutzen calls out the Flames at practice, and stresses how much better they need to be. We talk about these issues and more to try and figure out why the Flames have been so inconsistent since the CBA mandated bye week.

Our main discussion topic of the week is trying to figure out who will be the Flames backup goalie next season. Jon Gillies? David Rittich? Tyler Parsons? Someone else? We talk about your thoughts and chime in with what we think.

Matt is at his wit’s end with the Calgary Flames this week, and thinks it is time for the Flames to fire Glen Gulutzen and bring Darryl Sutter back to Calgary to coach the team to solve the team’s woes. Dan think the Flames need to keep the coaching staff in place for the remainder of the season – and the Flames aren’t in as bad a position as Matt thinks and that the Flames can still make the playoffs.

After being called out by coach Glen Gulutzan, who said the team has a “fear of failure”, the Flames responded back with a good game against the Senators.
