Episode 288: Bring Back Giordano?

This week the guys spend most of the show looking ahead to the NHL Trade Deadline on March 21 and what they think Brad Treliving needs to do to improve the Calgary Flames. Matt thinks this is the year to go all in to ensure a winner by acquiring players with term, and Dan wants to take a more cautious approach with rental players and wait to see what next year’s contract situation looks like. But the one thing the guys can agree on is that bringing Mark Giordano back at the deadline is a bad idea – despite the popular opinion in the C of Red.

The guys also discuss Hanifin’s season-ending injury and what defencemen need to step up to fill that spot, and how Michael Stone has been a surprise this season.
