This week’s show was recorded live on June 28, 2024 during the first round of the 2024 Entry Draft. We disucss not only the draft but the Mangiapane and Markstrom trades, Brad Larsen being hired as a coach and more. This show will sound different than you’re used to. We are still trying to get our setup all figured out for recording live shows and we learned a lot during this one, which we’ll apply next time to make it even better.
We spent the last week at the 2015 Flames Rookie Development Camp. We were at WinSport with the team for all four days of on-ice training this week, and were able to spend time with many of the prospects after their on-ice sessions to get their thoughts.
We spent a week at the Flames development camp at Winsport watching the prospects practice and scrimmage. We’ll let you know who looked good, what we thought of Johnny Gaudreau and Sam Bennett, and which of the walk-on players we think should get a contract. Plus, we interviewed some of the prospects to get their thoughts and opinions on the camp and their development.
This week’s show was recorded live from Winsport, where we’ve been part of the Alzheimer’s Pro-Am Hockey Tournament. This week we look back at the last week of Flames hockey, the signing and debut of Bryce Van Brabant, and how the grinders have stepped up offensively. Plus we look ahead to the final four games of the regular season.
This week we attended Flames Fest 2013, and we recorded a show just moments after the third jersey unveiling happened. Tune in to hear our thoughts on the new jersey that was unveiled, how they’ll fit in with the uniforms (pants, etc), the odd looking letters and numbering – and talking about the rest of the event including some interesting tidbits from Craig Conroy on the farm team prospects.
